1. CONTEST PERIOD   This Contest starts immediately, and runs through 11:59:59 pm EST on 11/30/2008. ("Contest Period") Entries will not be accepted after this time.

2. ELIGIBILITY   Open to residents of the United States and the District of Columbia only, who are 18 years of age or older as of November 30, 2008, and who have a U.S. mailing address. Employees, officers, directors, or Owners of Rockanomics.com and/or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, agencies, and individuals living in the same household (whether or not related) or immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings, regardless of where they live) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible. All taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners.

3. DESCRIPTION OF CONTEST    When you subscribe to our mailing list at rockanomics.com, your name goes into the pool of eligible names to win one of the prizes listed in the next section. Part of the subscription process is to validate and verify your email address via a return email through an email message sent to the subscriber when their subscription information is submitted. Failure to verify your email address, or the entry of an invalid email address will disqualify you from the contest. At an announced time after the Contest Period is over, we will randomly select six (6) names from the eligible names. Each winner will be contacted by email and must supply us with a valid postal mailing address to receive their prize. If for any reason whatsoever we do not have a valid email address, cannot obtain a valid postal address, or a subscriber fails to contact us via return email after their notification, within a period of five (5) days from the date of the drawing, another name will be drawn for that prize. Subscribers agree and understand that their names and addresses will be added to our general eMailing list and that they may receive additional mailings from us not related to this Contest. Subscribers may remove themselves from the list via an internet link at the bottom or each mailing. Those removing themselves from the list before the end of the Contest Period will not be eligible for the drawing.

4. PRIZES    Five names drawn will receive a $25 iTunes Gift Card. (See apple.com) One name will receive an iPod Nano valued at no less than $149 (See apple.com). Final iPod prize awarded will depend on product availability at the time of the drawing.

5. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE    No liability or responsibility is assumed by Rockanomics.com and its Owners resulting from any user's participation in or attempt to participate in the Contest. No responsibility or liability is assumed by Rockanomics.com and its Owners for technical problems or technical malfunction arising in connection with any of the following occurrences which may affect the operation of the Contest: hardware or software errors; faulty computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic, wireless or Internet connectivity or other online communication problems; errors or limitations of any Internet service providers, servers, hosts or providers; garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions; failure of any e-mail transmissions to be sent to or received; lost, late, delayed or intercepted e-mail transmissions; inaccessibility of the Web Site in whole or in part for any reason; traffic congestions on the Internet or the Web Site; unauthorized human or non-human intervention of the operation of the Contest, including without limitation, unauthorized tampering, hacking, theft, virus, bugs, worms; or destruction of any aspect of the Contest, or loss, miscount, misdirection, inaccessibility or unavailability of an account used in connection with the Contest. Rockanomics.com and its Owners are not responsible for any typographical errors in the announcement of prizes or these Official Rules, or any inaccurate or incorrect data contained on the Web Site. Use of the Web Site is at the user’s own risk. Rockanomics.com and its Owners are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind which may be sustained to any user's or any other person's computer equipment resulting from participation in the Contest, use of the Web Site or the download of any information from the Web Site. By participating in the Contest, the entrant thereby releases Rockanomics.com and its Owners from any and all claims, damages or liabilities arising from or relating to such entrant’s participation in the Contest. By accepting a prize in the Contest, Winners agree that Rockanomics.com and its Owners shall not be liable for any loss or injury resulting from participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of any prize, or any travel related thereto. 6. ARBITRATION    Any suit or action filed to enforce or contest any provision of these Contest rules, or the obligations imposed, shall be brought and prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, County of Philadelphia. Any suit, action, or proceeding concerning any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or relating to the Services or this Contest shall be instituted in any applicable court in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Subscriber irrevocably consents and submits to the jurisdiction and venue of such court for such purposes. Provided, however, that Rockanomics.com and its Owners may elect to submit such matter to arbitration in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in accordance with the then current Commercial Arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association under an accelerated format such that the case shall be heard within thirty (30) days of submission. Rockanomics.com and its Owners reserve its right to bring suit in any court elsewhere of competent jurisdiction and are not required to submit to arbitration.

5. LIST OF WINNERS    A list of the winner's first name and home town will be displayed on the rockanomics.com website. We will not display any other personal information with respect to this contest.
