Springsteen proves just how deep in the crapper American culture is! Forget terrorism – a dude’s right to piss with young girls is what matters!

What would you have said 15 years ago if I would have told you that instead of focusing on combating global terrorism and securing our borders, that in 2016, we would be having fierce fights over whether a guy could use a girls’ bathroom if he “identified” as a woman that day? And, the borders are wide open, and we can’t even say the words Jihad or Islamic Terrorism without being labeled racist! Well here we are…

From Foxnews:

Bruce Springsteen has canceled his concert in Greensboro, North Carolina, this Sunday in protest of the state’s new law that requires transgender people to use public bathrooms conforming to the sex on their birth certificates and restricts protections for LGBT people.
“Taking all of this into account, I feel that this is a time for me and the band to show solidarity for those freedom fighters. As a result, and with deepest apologies to our dedicated fans in Greensboro, we have canceled our show scheduled for Sunday, April 10th. Some things are more important than a rock show and this fight against prejudice and bigotry – which is happening as I write – is one of them. It is the strongest means I have for raising my voice in opposition to those who continue to push us backwards instead of forwards.”

BAPerv3Has-been Bryan Adams joined the fray:
From Vogue:

On Sunday night, Bryan Adams informed his fans in an Instagram post that he would be canceling an upcoming show in Mississippi on April 14 in response to bill 1523, also known as the Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act, passed last week in that state. The law allows businesses and public employees to deny services to LGBT customers if they have a “sincerely held religious belief” that marriage should be between only a man and a woman. “I cannot in good conscience perform in a state where certain people are being denied their civil rights due to their sexual orientation,” Adams wrote in his post. “Using my voice I stand in solidarity with all my LGBT friends to repeal this extremely discriminatory bill. Hopefully Mississippi will right itself and I can come back and perform for all of my many fans.”

From Vanity Fair:

Springsteen cancelled a concert scheduled for tomorrow night in Greensboro, N.C. as an act of protest against the state’s newly-enacted Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, which prohibits transgender individuals from using the bathroom of their choosing, and mandates that they use the amenities corresponding to their “biological sex” as registered on their birth certificates. This law, and similar laws passed in other states, have drawn fire for discriminating against transgender constituents, while the proponents of the bills cite the rationale that they’re designed to eliminate the possibility of sexual predators infiltrating bathrooms and preying upon unsuspecting toilet-users. Despite no records of this having ever happened, or actually existing, North Carolina’s legislature has alienated many out-of-state entities, from Hollywood productions pulling out of in-state shoots to Springsteen’s new boycott.

WOW, have we lost focus or what? Sorry, but using the public toilet of your choice is NOT a civil right.

Watch Spartanburg County sheriff Chuck Wright when asked about the debacle of transgender men not being allowed into women’s restrooms in NC. He nails it! “Yer wearin’ a dress, yer supposed to be a chick!” Classic.
