To set the stage, please watch two short videos regarding weapons of mass destruction and Iraq terror support.
Remember, the decision to invade Iraq and depose Saddam Hussein was made in the wake of the terror
attacks of 9/11. No, we're not saying that Iraq was responsible for or gave any support for those attacks
specifically, but there were well defined and well known patterns of support for terror organizations.
This is not in debate. It's not that Iraq would or could launch an all out assault on the U.S.,
but financial and material support along with toxins or other agents supplied to rogue groups
could easily be transported to this country. To not remove this threat would have been
irresponsible of any U.S. president.
The first is a report from ABC News and pre-dates George Bush as president - 1999. An amazing piece given what the anti-Iraq liberation democrats, liberals, and general kooks have said since.
The second is democrats making the case against Saddam Hussein and weapons of mass destruction around the same time frame. Pay close attention to Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. Just remember this is the same bunch that voted to cut our troops off at the knees with their idiotic denouncement of troop reinforcement resolution.
