What We Now Know
[Iraq Track Main Page and Menu]
The discoveries in Iraq don't quite fit the description of what the media and other Bush opponents think
WMDs should look like. Therefore, you rarely hear about this stuff - if ever. If common Americans knew of these
findings, we would not be having the raging debate over the Iraq invasion.
Thanks to terrible and/or selective reporting, most Americans are unaware of what has and continues to be found
in Iraq. Materials easily concealed and easily passed on to terror groups are common.
Also, sadly, the administration has done little to bring these facts forward in the face of treacherous opposition.
Here's what has been found in Iraq so far:
500 tons of yellowcake uranium with 1.8 tons partially enriched
1,500 gallons of weapon chemicals found with surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles, gas masks and a mobile laboratory
Roadside bomb loaded with sarin gas
Caches of radioactive materials ideal for radioactive dirty bombs
17 chemical warheads, some containing cyclosarin, a deadly nerve agent
500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent
"Reference strains" of a wide variety of biological weapons agents
Live C. botulinum Okra B. from which a biological agent can be produced, hidden in the home of an Iraqi biological weapons researcher
A line of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), or drones - tested beyond the permissible limit
Enormous stockpiles of "pesticides" - a key ingredient in chemical warfare agents. Many stored in camouflaged bunkers, underground, and at
ammunition depots. Those Iraqis were sure afraid of bugs!
