Stuck Mojo
Stuck Mojo trail blazed the rap-rock genre by melding their heavy metal-bred Southern heritage with a frontman who bled hip-hop. Formed in 1989 by guitarist Rich Ward, Stuck Mojo set out to experiment with this genre-blending musical hybrid, inspired by bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Run DMC and Black Sabbath. They quickly acquired a regional reputation as a band who would beat you down, call you names, and help you back up for some more. . . . READ IT AND COMMENT

Decyfer Down
Lifting mattresses and spraying pesticide is good, honest work. But those aren't the gigs that keep hard rockers motivated over the long term (even if they are grateful for work that supports families and musical dreams). Now those efforts will go toward the hard work this new rock band will face head-on, as they hit the road, leaving their North Carolina-base and welcome the opportunity to partner with INO/ Columbia Records and release their debut, End of Grey, a surefire source of melodic hard rock that unabashedly stands on the side of truth. . . . Daughtry
It makes perfect sense that an anonymous online music fan has best described what rocker Chris Daughtry's Phoenix-like ascension means to the ever-evolving rock n' roll canon. It's his intensity - notes the insightful blogger - a balm for an ailing industry, writing that Daughtry in a recording studio is akin 'to putting a beat-up violin in the hands of a master.' . . . 10 FOLD
In 2000, band leader E. Lee Conley re-enlisted in the National Guard and deployed to Baghdad Iraq to serve with BRAVO battery 1/103rd FA. During this time, he wrote the first metal album ever to be written while in a war-zone. Upon returning to RI in 2005, he reunited with a bassist from a former band who formed the group 10 FOLD in his absence. 10 FOLD played the Locobazooka festival before nearly 20,000 people and opened for Disturbed, Black Label Society, Ra, Hatebreed and Brand New Sin. Recently, 10 FOLD is currently putting new music to lyrics written in Baghdad in 2004-5. . . . READ IT AND COMMENT

Citizen Reign
Citizen Reign formed in late 2005 to create addictive, hook driven pop rock. The band combines the dynamic vocal stylings of lead singer Allen Wright, the gritty guitar work of Ryan Vergara, and the funk driven bass lines of Patrick Antal forming an infectiously singable sound. Completing CR's original and distinct flavor is drummer Sam "Bam" Hickey, giving the band its aggressive feel. . . . READ IT AND COMMENT
