January 28th 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion which occurred 73 seconds after launch. All 7 astronauts were killed including teacher Christa McAuliffe, selected to fly via NASA’s “Teacher in Space” program.

    Thank God that Reagan was our POTUS at that time. I can’t imagine anyone else of contemporary times who would have handled this with the same grace and genuine heartache as Reagan did. He truly understood the concept of getting back on the horse after a fall. Reagan understood the need for men and women to work hard for the benefit of others, as well as for themselves. This is a lost concept today. I miss him. To the families of those who risked their lives and to those who continue to risk their lives for the good of the many…THANK YOU & GOD BLESS.
